Hillcrest Baptist church is a Pastor (“Elder”) led, deacon served, and congregationally affirmed church.The pastor(s) at Hillcrest are appointed to lead, equip and shepherd the church that is among them (1 Peter 5:1-4). The pastor(s) bear the responsibility of decision making for our church and work diligently to consult church members and other leaders in the church for discernment on a variety of decisions.

Addison Hamrick

Lead Pastor

Addison and his family are new to Elgin and Hillcrest! Hillcrest called Addison to be their pastor and lead them through a process of church revitalization in June 2024. He is a graduate of Anderson University (BS) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv). He is married to Camille and they have three children: Hudson, Mason, and Eliza. Addison loves spending time with his family, playing sports, smoking meat, and watching college football and the NBA. Email
