One of our Core Values is Life on Life Discipleship.
We believe that community is an indispensable component of discipleship. Life on life discipleship is inviting someone into your life and coming alongside them in their journey of growth with Jesus. It models discipleship after Jesus’ ministry, which was incarnational and relational by nature. (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, Matthew 4:19)
Put simply: we believe growth is a community project. We need each other to grow spiritually, and we need be in community to care for one another practically. Because of this, we offer two types of groups: Discipleship Group and Community Groups.
Discipleship Groups (D-Groups)
A Discipleship Group is a group of 3-5 men or women who commit to growing together for a year. This growth happens through regularly studying God's Word, praying together, and holding each other accountable. The end goal is to multiply and replicate this process by inviting others to form new groups the following year.
Each of our groups will use this resource to guide their time together. If you would like to be involved in a group, or have questions, please fill out a connect card.
Community Groups
Community Groups are groups that meet in homes in order to share a meal, and share life with each other. The whole goal of a community group is to get people around each other in a organic way so that people can more easily develop deep and meaningful friendships with each other. At each community group we will share a meal, and then discuss how God is working in our lives, share prayer requests, and enjoy fellowship. If you are interested in joining this group, please fill out a connect card.
